Welcome to holiday and care farm "de Lange Dunen" at Ballum (Ameland). Holiday farm "de Lange Dunen" is located exactly in between Ballum and Hollum. The name of our accommodation is derived from nature reserve "Lange Duinen", which is located directly behind the farm. The "Lange Duinen" is a free accessible nature reserve that is opened up by two footpath's west-east and three footpath's north-south. Nature reserve the "Lange Duinen" and the corresponding beach is part of an experiment to maintain the area dynamic; that is why your will see freaky blowholes and tidal creeks during your walk on the beach.
